Current Vacancy: Client Care Ambassador (FT/PT/Nights)

 
Person Specification:

• Must have a genuine passion for caring.  We do not want people who  ' just want a job'. 
• You must be able to take constructive criticism as a tool for learning to better inform your practice.
• You must have integrity, be trustworthy and respect all clients, their possessions and personal belongings.
• Willing to commit to training and 6 months employment following that period to include any further training required. 
• An honest approach to work - we want people who will work as well when we are watching and when we are not there.
• You must have completed a post high school qualification although in the absence of this, we will train the right people to deliver our standard high quality service.
• You must be fun loving, light-hearted and optimistic and have a positive outlook on life. 
• You must have common sense and an ability to think for yourself.  Whilst we are willing to train you, your ability to think on your feet is vital.  This is an absolute basic requirement. 
• A non-scornful approach to care.  You must be willing to deliver care and all that that entails.
• Excellent record keeping skills are essential as is an ability to read and write clearly with correct spelling and punctuation.
• A willingness and experience in carrying out personal care.
• A qualification in care and a willingness to commit to training for continued personal development.
• All staff must have excellent time management - and must arrive no later 30 mins before shift begins for a smooth and seamless handover of care with all documentation completed prior to that handover (if required).
• You must have an awareness of food hygiene and safety and ensure you implement this at all times (you will have to take our course).
• You must be on or have completed the Care Carriacou training course.
• You must have a good work ethic and be reliable, flexible and genuinely helpful and team spirited.
• Your personal hygiene must be impeccable and your presentation should ensure you always represent the brand well.
• You should be aspirational and commit to your personal development.
• You must be a good communicator at all levels and have a respectful disposition.
• You must work with professionalism at all times and be personable and approachable.
• You must ensure you uphold our rules around confidentiality.  Our clients have the right to that.  Please refer to our Staff Code of Conduct Handbook
• You must be comfortable with technology and have Zoom, MS Teams, Whatsap to attend staff meetings.
• An ability to clean thoroughly without being prompted is essential.  All areas must be kept tidy and safe.
• A keen eye for detail is essential.  You must be obsessively observant and be able to spot danger to avoid anything happening that could otherwise be avoided.
• You must not have an unhealthy obsession with being on your phone during working hours.  Only use on designated breaks.  You are NOT permitted to be on your phone during working hours.
• Any pets (domestic pets such as dogs and cats) which cannot be fed by the client, will need to be fed during your shift as part of your duties.  
• CARE CARRIACOU WANTS TO MOVE AWAY FROM THE MICROMANAGING CULTURE that usually has to exist in care. We want those who take pride in their work.  We want you to work just as hard and as diligently as you do when Management and Directors are watching you as when they are not around. No short-cuts!
